We can't think of a better place for our family to have shares a special weekend in January together at Boone than Eagle's Nest! It was THEE PERFECT family retreat before we moved our daughter into App State. Truly a treasure hidden very close to campus, stores, restaurants. Communication was excellent and prompt and the cabin proved to be even more amazing than we expected! We loved having a grill, hot tub, and especially the fireplace. Views of the snowfall surrounded us! The kitchen and dining areas were great for making a special family meal and we had everything we needed. Beds very comfy and bedrooms spacious. Everything was very clean with fresh towels for both shower and hot tub. We explored the trail up the road and had amazing views of Howard's Knob and Grandfather mountain. We loved the place so much we canceled a hotel we had scheduled for our last night and stayed an extra at Eagle's Nest. Having an AWD is a plus for getting up the hill during winter! We will be back, hopefully with another family to share the full Eagle's Nest/Eagle's View get-away!
